We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Geological Engineer / Mine Geologist to join our operational team supporting active nickel and gold extraction projects. Based out of DI Yogyakarta with potential site deployment, this position is central to optimizing ore extraction, supervising exploratory drilling, and conducting precise geological modeling.
In this role, you will interface directly with mining production teams, ensuring accurate grade control and safe mining practices aligned with Indonesian environmental and mineral resource standards. You will analyze field lithology, oversee core logging operations, and prepare actionable reserve reports. Tanggung Jawab
- Plan, coordinate, and execute daily pit mapping and ore grade control during active extraction.
- Supervise diamond and RC drilling programs, including core logging, sampling, and assay validation.
- Interpret geological, structural, and geochemical data to update short-term and long-term mine models.
- Liaise with the mine planning and extraction teams to minimize dilution and maximize ore recovery.
- Prepare standardized technical reports, resource updates, and compliance filings for management.
- Enforce strict operational health, safety, and environmental standards across all field mapping and drill sites.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Geological Engineering, Geology, or Earth Sciences.
- Minimum of 1–3 years practical experience in nickel laterite or gold mining operations.
- Demonstrated experience in drill core logging, sample preparation, and QA/QC procedures.
- Proficiency in mining software such as Surpac, Datamine, Micromine, or Leapfrog Geo.
- Solid understanding of Indonesian mining regulations and K3 (health and safety) standards.
- Willingness to travel or rotate to remote mining site locations as operationally required.
