POLIKLINIK MAYA 24 JAM is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant / Staff Nurse to join our dynamic 24-hour outpatient clinic in Setia Alam, Selangor. In this role, you will deliver essential front-line clinical support, assist medical officers with diagnostic and treatment procedures, and uphold exceptional standards of patient care.
The ideal candidate possesses strong clinical competencies, excellent bedside manners, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced primary healthcare setting. You will handle routine patient examinations, clinical administrative duties, minor surgical preparations, and direct patient interaction across rotating shifts. Tanggung Jawab
- Register patients, document accurate medical histories, and manage electronic medical records (EMR).
- Measure, evaluate, and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and blood glucose.
- Assist doctors during consultations, examinations, and minor outpatient surgical procedures.
- Administer oral medications, intramuscular or intravenous injections, and immunizations as prescribed.
- Perform wound dressing, suture removal, phlebotomy, and basic laboratory diagnostic tests.
- Maintain proper sterilization of clinic instruments and adhere strictly to infection control standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock pharmaceutical supplies, and ensure the readiness of emergency equipment.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing, Medical Assistant Studies, or equivalent clinical qualification.
- Registered with the Malaysian Nursing Board (LJM) or Medical Assistant Board (LPPB) with a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in an outpatient clinic or hospital environment; fresh graduates with strong clinical acumen are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in basic clinical procedures including venipuncture, cannulation, and dressing management.
- Willingness to work on rotating shift schedules, including weekends and public holidays.
- Good verbal communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English; additional language proficiencies are an advantage.
