PT Mulia Boga Raya Tbk is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Packaging Specialist to join our Product & Packaging Development team in Cikarang. In this role, you will lead the development, evaluation, and optimization of primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging solutions for our leading food and dairy product lines.
As a Packaging Specialist, you will collaborate closely with Cross-Functional Teams including R&D, Quality Assurance, Procurement, and Production to ensure our packaging meets food safety standards, sustainability targets, cost efficiency, and line performance benchmarks. You will conduct material testing, validate supplier samples, and implement packaging improvements that uphold brand integrity and shelf-life requirements.

Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the design, development, and testing of primary, secondary, and tertiary food packaging materials.
- Collaborate with R&D and Quality Assurance to conduct shelf-life studies, barrier integrity testing, and transit simulations.
- Optimize packaging specs to achieve material cost reductions, operational efficiency, and sustainability targets.
- Validate new packaging machinery compatibility, line runnability, and seal integrity during trial runs.
- Establish standard operating procedures, technical drawings, and packaging specifications for manufacturing.
- Liaise with external packaging vendors to audit material quality, negotiate technical specs, and resolve defects.
- Ensure full regulatory compliance with Indonesian food contact regulations (BPOM, Halal, SNI) and international food safety standards.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Packaging Technology, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on packaging development experience within the FMCG or food manufacturing industry.
- Strong technical expertise in flexible packaging, rigid plastics, corrugated board, and barrier film properties.
- Demonstrated experience with packaging trial protocols, leak testing, drop tests, and burst strength evaluations.
- Working knowledge of BPOM, ISO 22000, HACCP, and Halal packaging compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in packaging design software and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ArtiosCAD, or Illustrator) is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, project management, and vendor coordination capabilities.
