PT Belawan New Container Terminal is seeking a results-oriented Performance Manager to lead terminal operational excellence in Medan Belawan. In this critical role, you will be responsible for evaluating, monitoring, and optimizing container terminal workflows, resource utilization, and turnaround times.
You will work cross-functionally with operations, planning, and engineering departments to identify bottlenecks, streamline vessel and yard movements, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate blends robust analytical abilities with hands-on maritime logistics experience to enforce rigorous safety standards, enhance cost efficiency, and ensure world-class service delivery to shipping lines and cargo owners.
Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor and analyze daily terminal productivity metrics, vessel turnaround times, and berth occupancy.
- Develop and implement operational KPIs to drive continuous performance improvement across gate, yard, and vessel operations.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and execute cost-control strategies without compromising safety or throughput standards.
- Collaborate with berth planners, equipment operators, and marine teams to maximize crane split efficiency and minimize equipment downtime.
- Produce regular operational analytics reports and executive dashboards for terminal leadership and external port stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with international maritime safety codes, local port regulations, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Lead cross-functional process optimization initiatives using Lean or Six Sigma principles.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Maritime Studies, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of operational management experience in container terminals, port operations, or high-volume freight logistics.
- Demonstrated expertise with Terminal Operating Systems (TOS) such as Navis N4, CATOS, or similar platforms.
- Strong command of operational data analysis, root-cause methodology, and KPI tracking frameworks.
- Proven track record in process optimization, budget oversight, and contractor performance management.
- Excellent leadership, conflict-resolution, and stakeholder management skills in dynamic industrial environments.
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and working professional proficiency in English.
