Aether Grid Systems is seeking a Principal Cloud Platform Engineer to architect and scale our distributed infrastructure. You will drive core reliability initiatives, modernize internal developer tooling, and maintain high-throughput streaming pipelines serving millions of real-time transactions daily.
This role offers high visibility, direct architecture ownership, and close collaboration with executive engineering leadership to redefine standard deployment models across multi-region environments.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, deploy, and operate high-availability distributed systems across multi-region AWS and bare-metal environments.
- Lead the modernization of automated CI/CD deployment pipelines targeting Kubernetes clusters.
- Define service-level objectives (SLOs) and implement deep-telemetry monitoring via Prometheus and OpenTelemetry.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using modular, tested Terraform and OpenTofu definitions.
- Serve as escalation lead during critical incidents and drive blameless post-mortem analyses.
- Mentor senior engineers on distributed systems resiliency, fault domain isolation, and performance tuning.
Kualifikasi
- 8+ years of production experience in infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, or SRE.
- Deep operational fluency with Kubernetes internals, container runtimes, and Linux kernel networking.
- Demonstrated mastery of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Pulumi at enterprise scale.
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or Rust for systems programming and internal automation tooling.
- Proven record designing zero-trust networking architectures and hardening production cloud assets.
- Hands-on experience optimizing cost, network transit, and cold storage across public cloud providers.
- Strong background managing high-throughput data layers (Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis) under heavy load.
