Nexus Systems is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to architect, scale, and optimize core distributed services. You will design fault-tolerant data pipelines and high-throughput APIs processing millions of real-time transactions daily. This role offers high architectural ownership and technical impact across cross-functional engineering teams.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, develop, and maintain mission-critical backend services and APIs using Go and Python.
- Design scalable relational and non-relational database architectures using PostgreSQL and Redis.
- Optimize high-throughput, low-latency asynchronous processing pipelines utilizing Apache Kafka.
- Collaborate with infrastructure engineers to deploy, monitor, and scale workloads on AWS using Kubernetes and Terraform.
- Implement stringent security protocols, automated testing suites, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure 99.99% system availability.
- Lead architectural reviews and mentor mid-level and junior engineers through regular code audits and design workshops.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of production experience building high-scale distributed backend systems.
- Demonstrated proficiency in at least one modern backend language (Go, Python, Java, or Rust).
- Deep understanding of database internals, concurrency control, query optimization, and data modeling.
- Hands-on expertise with distributed streaming platforms such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS Kinesis.
- Extensive experience with containerized deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, and major cloud providers (AWS or GCP).
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
