CloudScale Systems is seeking a high-caliber Senior Backend Engineer to architect, optimize, and maintain mission-critical distributed systems. You will lead core data infrastructure initiatives, eliminate architectural bottlenecks, and drive low-latency service design for high-throughput cloud environments.
This role offers high technical ownership, direct impact on core services handling billions of monthly requests, and competitive equity incentives.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, implement, and operate fault-tolerant distributed microservices in Go and Python.
- Optimize high-throughput relational and non-relational database architectures for low-latency queries.
- Establish rigorous CI/CD automation pipelines and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Kubernetes.
- Lead root-cause analyses on complex production incidents and engineer preventative solutions.
- Collaborate with product and security leadership to ensure SOC 2 Type II compliance and data integrity.
- Mentor junior engineers via structured code reviews and system architecture teardowns.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of software engineering experience deploying distributed systems at production scale.
- Deep proficiency in Go, Rust, or modern Python with standard library mastery.
- Demonstrated experience designing high-performance data layers with PostgreSQL, Redis, or Kafka.
- Production experience managing containers and orchestration platforms including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid grasp of networking fundamentals, TCP/IP, HTTP/2, and secure API protocols.
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical industry experience.
