Apex Distributed Systems is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to architect, scale, and optimize our core low-latency infrastructure. You will design fault-tolerant data pipelines and high-throughput APIs serving millions of concurrent requests. This role collaborates directly with product and infrastructure teams to ensure 99.99% system availability while maintaining rapid delivery cycles.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and maintain high-throughput, low-latency microservices using Go and PostgreSQL.
- Design resilient distributed transaction pipelines and real-time streaming workflows with Apache Kafka.
- Optimize database performance, indexing strategies, and query execution plans for scale.
- Implement automated CI/CD deployment pipelines on AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Kubernetes.
- Lead engineering design reviews, establish technical standards, and mentor mid-level developers.
- Participate in on-call escalation rotations and lead post-incident root-cause analysis.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of production experience designing and deploying distributed backend systems.
- Advanced proficiency in at least one modern backend language: Go, Rust, or Java.
- Proven expertise in relational data modeling, query optimization, and schema migrations with PostgreSQL.
- Hands-on experience orchestrating production workloads with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
- Deep understanding of distributed consensus, message queues, and caching architectures (Kafka, Redis).
- Track record of writing comprehensive unit, integration, and load tests to safeguard critical paths.
