Nexus Systems is seeking a high-caliber Senior Backend Engineer to architect, scale, and maintain our distributed data pipelines and core platform APIs. In this role, you will lead backend architectural decisions, mentor junior engineers, and directly influence infrastructure performance for millions of daily active users.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, deploy, and maintain fault-tolerant distributed backend services handling over 100k requests per second.
- Optimize database queries, indexing strategies, and caching tiers to maintain sub-50ms p99 latencies.
- Collaborate with product and infrastructure teams to design modular, decoupled microservices.
- Conduct code reviews, drive standard engineering practices, and elevate team-wide code quality.
- Implement proactive telemetry, alerting, and observability using OpenTelemetry and Prometheus.
- Diagnose complex production incidents and author post-mortems with actionable remediation plans.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of production experience building high-throughput systems in Go, Rust, or Java.
- Deep understanding of relational (PostgreSQL) and non-relational (Redis, Cassandra) data stores.
- Demonstrated experience designing and consuming robust RESTful and gRPC APIs.
- Proficiency with containerization and cloud orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS or GCP).
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems concepts including consensus algorithms and eventual consistency.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
