Apex Scale Systems is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to architect, build, and scale low-latency distributed platforms. In this role, you will lead core service development, resolve complex distributed computing challenges, and build infrastructure supporting millions of concurrent transactions.
We prioritize pragmatic architecture, system observability, and engineering ownership from local design to multi-region cloud production.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, develop, and maintain high-throughput backend services using Go and modern cloud infrastructure.
- Lead system design initiatives to guarantee sub-millisecond query performance across distributed data layers.
- Partner with product and platform teams to establish architectural standards and delivery roadmaps.
- Diagnose and resolve critical production issues to guarantee a 99.99% availability SLA.
- Drive engineering standards via structured code reviews, automated CI/CD pipelines, and rigorous testing patterns.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers in distributed systems design and operational resilience.
Kualifikasi
- 6+ years of professional backend engineering experience delivering high-scale distributed systems.
- Advanced production proficiency in Go, Java, or Rust with deep concurrency and networking expertise.
- Extensive experience designing schemas and optimizing queries in PostgreSQL and distributed key-value stores like Redis.
- Proven track record building and scaling cloud-native services using Kubernetes and AWS.
- Deep understanding of event streaming architectures and messaging systems including Apache Kafka.
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent practical production engineering experience.
