Vanguard Core Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to architect, scale, and maintain mission-critical distributed platforms. In this role, you will lead infrastructural initiatives that handle high-throughput transactions with stringent fault tolerance and sub-millisecond latency requirements.
You will collaborate closely with platform architects and product teams to modernize core data pipelines, enforce reliable API contracts, and drive operational excellence across multi-region cloud deployments.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and maintain low-latency, resilient backend microservices using Go and PostgreSQL.
- Design, benchmark, and deploy distributed pipelines processing millions of events daily.
- Drive observability and system health improvements using Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Grafana.
- Implement secure, versioned gRPC and REST APIs for external developer integrations.
- Participate in regular architectural reviews, establishing technical patterns and best practices.
- Lead root-cause analyses and mitigation strategies for critical platform incidents.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of production experience operating distributed backend systems at scale.
- Deep proficiency in Go, Rust, or modern C++ with strong concurrency patterns.
- Extensive experience with relational schema design, query optimization, and transaction isolation in PostgreSQL.
- Demonstrated expertise with container orchestration and cloud primitives in AWS or GCP using Kubernetes.
- Strong grasp of networking protocols, distributed consensus, and event streaming architectures (Kafka).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
