Nexus Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to design, scale, and maintain our core distributed cloud services. In this role, you will architect resilient backend microservices capable of handling millions of concurrent requests while maintaining low latency and high availability.
You will collaborate closely with platform architects, security leads, and product teams to deliver high-throughput data processing pipelines and developer-facing APIs. We value production pragmaticism, clear technical communication, and robust system design over complex frameworks.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, develop, and maintain high-performance microservices using Go and PostgreSQL.
- Design low-latency gRPC and RESTful APIs serving distributed enterprise clients.
- Optimize database queries, indexing strategies, and cache layers for mission-critical paths.
- Implement comprehensive automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and observability metrics using Prometheus and OpenTelemetry.
- Participate in architectural reviews and establish best practices for engineering workflows.
- Lead root-cause analysis investigations for production incidents and contribute to on-call rotation support.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of production experience in backend software engineering with compiled languages (Go preferred).
- Strong expertise in relational database design, query optimization, and transaction isolation levels in PostgreSQL.
- Demonstrated experience designing and maintaining distributed, fault-tolerant cloud architectures on AWS or GCP.
- Deep understanding of container orchestration, networking principles, and deployment strategies using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Proficiency with asynchronous messaging systems and event streams (e.g., Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent practical production engineering experience.
