ScaleGrid Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to lead the architecture and scaling of our distributed core data platform.
In this role, you will design fault-tolerant microservices, optimize low-latency data pipelines, and drive architectural choices directly influencing system reliability at scale.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and deploy resilient distributed systems handling millions of events daily.
- Optimize high-throughput API endpoints for ultra-low latency and maximum uptime.
- Lead technical architecture reviews and enforce engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with product and platform teams to design scalable data models.
- Troubleshoot production incidents across distributed cloud environments.
- Champion automated testing, CI/CD improvements, and end-to-end observability.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of experience engineering production distributed systems with Go, Java, or Rust.
- Deep expertise with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and message streaming (Kafka).
- Demonstrated experience containerizing and orchestrating services via Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proven track record identifying and remediating system performance bottlenecks.
- Proficiency with AWS infrastructure and cloud-native architecture principles.
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent practical engineering experience.
