Apex Infrastructure is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to architect, scale, and maintain our high-throughput distributed edge platform. In this role, you will lead core service development, optimize database performance, and eliminate system bottlenecks across multi-region deployments.
We value pragmatic engineering, high ownership, and minimal bureaucracy. You will work directly with principal engineers and product stakeholders to ship reliable services handling tens of millions of requests per day.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, build, and deploy low-latency microservices using Go and gRPC.
- Design, optimize, and maintain relational schemas and queries in PostgreSQL.
- Manage end-to-end containerized deployments on Kubernetes across AWS infrastructure.
- Implement automated observability, tracing, and alerting pipelines using Prometheus and OpenTelemetry.
- Lead root-cause analyses on production incidents and drive platform resilience improvements.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and establish architectural standards across the team.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of production experience in backend engineering using Go, Rust, or C++.
- Demonstrated experience designing and maintaining distributed, concurrent systems at scale.
- Proficiency with relational databases, index optimization, and distributed cache layers (Redis).
- Hands-on production experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and core AWS services.
- Strong grasp of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/2, gRPC) and distributed systems patterns.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical industry experience.
