Nexus Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to architect, scale, and optimize high-throughput distributed systems. In this role, you will lead the core platform team, driving architectural decisions that support millions of concurrent connections with sub-millisecond latencies.
We prioritize clear engineering trade-offs, minimal dependencies, and high-performance primitives over complex abstractions. You will work closely with infrastructure and reliability teams to deliver resilient, production-grade cloud services.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and maintain resilient, distributed backend services in Go and Rust.
- Optimize database schemas, queries, and caching strategies across PostgreSQL and Redis.
- Design low-latency gRPC and REST APIs for mission-critical platform consumers.
- Spearhead load-testing, bottleneck analysis, and runtime performance profiling.
- Enforce observability standards using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and structured logging.
- Drive code review rigor, mentoring mid-level and junior systems engineers.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of production experience in Go, Rust, or modern C++.
- Demonstrated experience designing and scaling distributed systems under high load.
- Deep understanding of relational database internals, isolation levels, and indexing.
- Proficiency with containerization, Kubernetes orchestration, and cloud primitives (AWS/GCP).
- Hands-on experience with asynchronous messaging architectures via Kafka or NATS.
- Strong grasp of Linux system internals, network protocols (TCP, HTTP/2), and concurrency models.
