Vanguard Cloud Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to design, scale, and optimize high-throughput distributed microservices. You will work on mission-critical platform infrastructure serving millions of daily active users, ensuring low latency, fault tolerance, and developer velocity.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, develop, and deploy scalable Go and Python microservices handling over 50,000 requests per second.
- Optimize distributed PostgreSQL and Redis clusters for minimal query latency and continuous data availability.
- Lead system design initiatives, API contracts, and engineering RFCs across cross-functional product squads.
- Instrument runtime telemetry and distributed tracing using OpenTelemetry and Prometheus to sustain 99.99% uptime.
- Automate deployment pipelines and manage cloud infrastructure using Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform on AWS.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and provide technical mentorship to mid-level and junior developers.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of professional experience developing enterprise backend systems using Go, Rust, or Python.
- Deep understanding of relational database design, indexing strategies, and concurrency control.
- Production experience operating containerized workloads on Kubernetes within AWS or GCP.
- Expertise with asynchronous messaging systems and event streaming platforms such as Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Strong background in network protocols, gRPC, and RESTful API architecture.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical industry experience.
