Apex Distributed Systems is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, scale, and maintain our multi-region Kubernetes platform. In this role, you will lead core architectural decisions, drive zero-downtime deployments, and optimize bare-metal and public cloud environments supporting high-throughput production services.
You will collaborate directly with core product engineering teams to eliminate bottlenecks, automate delivery pipelines, and enforce strict reliability standards across our entire stack.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and maintain high-availability Kubernetes clusters across AWS and multi-cloud environments.
- Build and enforce robust Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) patterns using Terraform.
- Optimize system observability using Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and distributed tracing.
- Implement automated CI/CD pipelines to guarantee safe, deterministic deployments.
- Lead root-cause analysis (RCA) investigations and drive long-term platform resilience.
- Partner with product teams to architect low-latency, scalable network topographies.
- Establish automated compliance, threat modeling, and infrastructure security hardening protocols.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of production experience in Site Reliability Engineering or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
- Deep operational expertise with Kubernetes, service meshes (Istio/Linkerd), and container runtimes.
- Advanced proficiency in Terraform, Terragrunt, or similar IaC tooling at scale.
- Strong programming background in Go, Python, or Rust for systems automation.
- Demonstrated experience tuning high-load Linux kernels and networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP).
- Hands-on experience managing production datastores (PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis) across distributed nodes.
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent practical industry experience.
