Synthetix Systems is seeking a high-caliber Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to architect, scale, and secure our multi-region distributed platform. You will directly influence our core infrastructure reliability, developer velocity, and production performance.
In this role, you will lead complex cloud automation initiatives, optimize large-scale Kubernetes workloads, and champion modern Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) paradigms across cross-functional teams.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, deploy, and maintain fault-tolerant, scalable infrastructure across multi-region AWS and GCP environments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform and GitOps workflows.
- Scale, monitor, and optimize high-throughput production Kubernetes clusters.
- Implement comprehensive observability stacks covering metrics, tracing, and logging via Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Partner with software engineering teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and reduce mean-time-to-deploy.
- Participate in on-call rotations and lead root-cause analysis (RCA) investigations for production incidents.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of production experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Demonstrated mastery of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tooling, particularly Terraform.
- Extensive operational experience running Kubernetes and containerized services in large-scale environments.
- Proficiency in at least one modern backend/scripting language (Go, Python, or Rust).
- Deep understanding of Linux internals, distributed systems networking, and cloud security frameworks.
- Proven track record managing zero-downtime database and data-pipeline migrations.
