Vectra Metrics is looking for a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to lead the scalability, reliability, and security of our multi-region distributed cloud platform. You will design automated infrastructure solutions, eliminate operational bottlenecks, and partner directly with product teams to build resilient deployment pipelines.
We operate modern, containerized microservices handling billions of events daily. This role offers high visibility, technical autonomy, and the opportunity to shape our long-term cloud architecture.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and maintain multi-region infrastructure on AWS using Terraform and Kubernetes.
- Automate CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid, zero-downtime microservice deployments.
- Design and tune observability systems across metrics, logs, and distributed traces.
- Establish chaos engineering practices to validate fault tolerance and disaster recovery.
- Implement cloud security controls and principle-of-least-privilege IAM policies.
- Participate in an on-call rotation with dedicated focus on mean time to resolution and root-cause postmortems.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years supporting production environments at scale using Linux and public cloud providers.
- Strong production expertise with Kubernetes cluster orchestration and container networking.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or OpenTofu.
- Proficiency in Go or Python for automating infrastructure tooling and operational tasks.
- Solid grasp of networking protocols, load balancing, DNS, and TLS termination.
- Proven track record configuring Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry in high-traffic settings.
