Apex Cloud Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to design, scale, and optimize our next-generation cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will lead the evolution of our distributed platform, automating high-throughput workloads and enabling engineering teams to ship reliable software faster. The ideal candidate blends deep systems knowledge with disciplined infrastructure-as-code practices.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and maintain resilient, multi-region cloud infrastructure using Terraform and AWS.
- Design robust CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment velocity for containerized microservices.
- Manage production Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability, observability, and self-healing.
- Collaborate with security engineers to implement Zero Trust network architectures and strict IAM guardrails.
- Monitor platform performance, manage incident response, and lead blameless post-mortem reviews.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize compute resource utilization to reduce cloud infrastructure spend.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of hands-on experience engineering and scaling production systems on AWS or GCP.
- Deep operational expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, and service mesh technologies.
- Proven production experience authoring and maintaining complex Terraform or OpenTofu modules.
- Proficiency in at least one systems or scripting language, preferably Go or Python.
- Demonstrated success designing automated CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
- Strong background in distributed observability stacks including Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
