Nexus Cloud Solutions is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the architecture and automation of our cloud-native infrastructure. You will be the bridge between development and operations, owning the CI/CD pipelines, observability stack, and platform reliability for high-throughput microservices.
We operate at the intersection of fintech and AI, processing millions of transactions daily. This role demands a deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code, container orchestration, and site reliability engineering (SRE) principles. You will mentor junior engineers, define best practices, and drive the strategic migration to a multi-cloud environment (AWS/GCP).

Tanggung Jawab
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP using Terraform and Helm.
- Architect and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI / ArgoCD) for zero-downtime deployments, automated testing, and progressive delivery (Canary/Blue-Green).
- Build and operate a comprehensive observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Tempo, OpenTelemetry) ensuring SLI/SLO compliance.
- Develop and maintain Internal Developer Platform (IDP) tooling (Backstage) to enable self-service provisioning and reduce cognitive load for product teams.
- Lead incident response for critical production issues, conduct blameless postmortems, and implement preventative automation.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement DevSecOps practices: policy-as-code (OPA/Gatekeeper), vulnerability scanning, and secrets management (Vault).
- Manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS/GKE) lifecycle: upgrades, node optimization, custom controllers/operators, and cost optimization (FinOps).
- Mentor team members, conduct code reviews, and champion a culture of documentation and knowledge sharing.
Kualifikasi
- 7+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE roles within high-scale, cloud-native environments.
- Expert-level proficiency with Kubernetes (EKS/GKE), including networking (CNI), storage (CSI), and cluster autoscaling.
- Deep hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Terragrunt) and GitOps workflows (ArgoCD/Flux).
- Strong programming skills in Go or Python for building operators, controllers, and automation tooling; Bash proficiency is a must.
- Proven track record designing and managing CI/CD systems for microservices architectures (monorepo experience a plus).
- Solid understanding of Linux internals, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing, Service Mesh - Istio/Linkerd), and database operations (PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka).
- Experience with FinOps practices: rightsizing, spot instance management, and cloud cost attribution.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to articulate complex technical trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
