Are you passionate about building resilient, scalable infrastructure that powers the next generation of cloud-native applications? Apex Cloud Solutions is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our elite Platform Engineering team in the heart of San Francisco.
You will be the architect of our deployment pipelines, the guardian of our cloud infrastructure, and a key driver in our migration to a GitOps-centric workflow. We operate at the intersection of development and operations, leveraging cutting-edge tooling to empower developers to ship code with confidence and velocity.

Tanggung Jawab
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available, multi-region infrastructure on AWS using Terraform and AWS CDK.
- Architect and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD to enable progressive delivery (Canary, Blue/Green) for microservices.
- Establish and enforce GitOps workflows using ArgoCD/Flux, ensuring cluster state is declarative and auditable.
- Build comprehensive observability stacks (Metrics, Logs, Traces) using Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Tempo; define SLIs/SLOs/SLAs for critical services.
- Harden Kubernetes clusters (EKS) implementing network policies, RBAC, Pod Security Standards, and admission controllers (Kyverno/OPA).
- Lead Incident Response for SEV-1/SEV-2 outages; conduct blameless postmortems and drive preventive action items.
- Mentor junior engineers; champion internal developer platforms (Backstage) to reduce cognitive load and accelerate onboarding.
- Collaborate with Security teams to implement DevSecOps practices: SAST/DAST/SCA scanning, secret management (Vault), and compliance automation.
Kualifikasi
- 7+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles.
- Expert-level proficiency with Kubernetes (EKS/GKE/AKS) lifecycle management: upgrades, operators, controllers, and CNI plugins (Cilium/Calico).
- Deep Infrastructure-as-Code expertise: Terraform (modules, state management, testing with Terratest) and/or Pulumi/CDK.
- Strong programming skills in Go or Python for building operators, controllers, or CLI tools; solid Bash scripting.
- Proven track record designing and migrating CI/CD systems for high-throughput microservice architectures.
- Extensive experience with Service Mesh technologies (Istio/Linkerd) and Ingress controllers (NGINX/Traefik/Envoy).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or CKAD/CKA certification strongly preferred.
