NexusCloud Technologies is seeking a passionate Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team in San Francisco. You will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining the scalable infrastructure that powers our high-throughput SaaS platform serving millions of users globally.
This is a high-impact role where you will own the Infrastructure as Code strategy, optimize CI/CD pipelines for velocity and reliability, and champion a culture of observability and site reliability engineering (SRE). Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Terragrunt, ensuring GitOps workflows via ArgoCD.
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available Kubernetes clusters (EKS) running microservices at scale.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / Jenkins) to achieve sub-15-minute deployment cycles.
- Establish SLIs/SLOs and implement comprehensive observability (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki) for system health and performance.
- Lead incident response for SEV-1/SEV-2 outages, conduct blameless postmortems, and drive preventive action items.
- Collaborate with software engineers to improve local development environments and self-service developer platforms (Backstage).
- Implement cloud cost optimization strategies (FinOps) including rightsizing, savings plans, and spot instance orchestration.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews for infrastructure changes, and contribute to internal technical documentation.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Platform Engineering roles.
- Expert-level proficiency with Kubernetes (EKS/GKE/AKS), including operators, controllers, and CNI plugins (Cilium/Calico).
- Deep Infrastructure as Code expertise with Terraform (modules, state management, testing with Terratest).
- Strong programming skills in Go or Python for writing controllers, operators, or automation tooling.
- Extensive experience designing CI/CD systems for microservices (ArgoCD, Flux, GitHub Actions, Spinnaker).
- Proven track record with Observability stacks: Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Datadog, or ELK/EFK.
- Solid understanding of Linux internals, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing, Service Mesh - Istio/Linkerd), and security hardening.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
