Nexus Cloud Solutions is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our high-performing Platform Engineering team in San Francisco. You will be the architect of our cloud-native infrastructure, driving automation, reliability, and scalability for a SaaS platform serving millions of users globally.
This is a high-impact role where you will own the "infrastructure as code" lifecycle, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate closely with software development teams to streamline the path from commit to production. Tanggung Jawab
- Design, implement, and manage highly available, scalable, and secure AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD) to enable rapid, safe, and automated deployments.
- Implement comprehensive observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK) ensuring SLI/SLO adherence and rapid incident response.
- Architect and manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS) including operators, controllers, and service mesh (Istio/Linkerd) configurations.
- Develop internal developer platforms and self-service tooling to accelerate engineering velocity and enforce golden paths.
- Lead incident management processes, conduct blameless postmortems, and drive reliability improvements across the stack.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement DevSecOps practices: secret management, vulnerability scanning, and compliance automation.
- Mentor team members, conduct code reviews, and contribute to technical strategy and architecture decision records (ADRs).
Kualifikasi
- 7+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform Engineering roles.
- Expert-level proficiency with AWS (EC2, VPC, RDS, IAM, Lambda, ECS/EKS) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform required).
- Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS/GKE/AKS) in production environments, including upgrades, networking, and storage.
- Strong programming skills in Go, Python, or Bash for automation and tooling development.
- Proven track record designing and operating CI/CD systems for microservices architectures (GitOps workflows preferred).
- Solid understanding of Linux internals, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing), and distributed systems concepts.
- Experience with Configuration Management (Ansible) and Secret Management (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, Sealed Secrets).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
