Nexus Cloud Systems is seeking a Senior Distributed Systems Engineer to lead the architecture and scaling of our core multi-tenant data mesh. In this role, you will build fault-tolerant backend infrastructure, optimize low-latency data access patterns, and establish architectural patterns for services processing petabytes of daily transactions.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and maintain low-latency, fault-tolerant distributed services using Go and Rust.
- Design resilient storage and streaming pipelines leveraging Kafka, gRPC, and Raft consensus engines.
- Profile and eliminate bottlenecks across network, compute, and distributed storage layers.
- Lead technical architecture discussions, produce design specifications, and mentor engineering peers.
- Partner with platform and SRE teams to automate multi-region failover and service provisioning on Kubernetes.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to debug critical production incidents and drive post-mortem root cause analyses.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of production experience building high-throughput backend services and distributed systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Go, Rust, or modern C++ in Linux server environments.
- Deep practical knowledge of distributed consensus, CAP theorem trade-offs, and microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience orchestrating production workloads with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS or GCP.
- Demonstrated experience tuning distributed databases such as Cassandra, CockroachDB, or PostgreSQL.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical industry experience.
