Vektor is building low-latency distributed execution platforms. We are hiring a Senior Distributed Systems Engineer to scale resilient, high-throughput data backends handling millions of operations per second.
You will own the core messaging infrastructure, optimize memory and network boundaries, and ensure multi-region fault tolerance across our global cluster footprint.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and operate distributed storage backends and messaging fabrics.
- Optimize low-latency networking, RPC throughput, and memory utilization in Go.
- Resolve multi-region partition and synchronization failures under peak loads.
- Implement telemetry, automated fault injection, and end-to-end tracing pipelines.
- Define architectural guidelines and review concurrency models across engineering pods.
- Partner with infrastructure teams to maintain resilient Kubernetes deployment patterns.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years production experience building distributed systems and backend APIs.
- Strong programming skills in Go, Rust, or C++ with focus on systems performance.
- Direct experience with consensus algorithms, distributed queues, and transactional data stores.
- Track record profiling memory allocations, CPU bottlenecks, and Linux kernel parameters.
- Operational familiarity with Kubernetes, cloud-native networking, and AWS or GCP.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
