Apex Cloud Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Platform Engineer to scale internal developer platforms and enhance developer velocity across distributed engineering teams.
In this role, you will design self-healing cloud infrastructure, implement automated deployment primitives, and establish reliability standards for high-throughput microservices.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, provision, and maintain production-grade Kubernetes infrastructure across multi-region AWS environments.
- Build reusable infrastructure-as-code modules using Terraform and modern CI/CD automation.
- Design internal developer platforms (IDP) that minimize friction for product engineering teams.
- Implement observability, distributed tracing, and automated alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Drive incident post-mortems and establish defensive mitigation patterns against recurring platform failures.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on infrastructure best practices and system resilience.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of production experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or site reliability engineering.
- Demonstrated expertise managing multi-cluster Kubernetes deployments at scale.
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or Rust for systems tooling and automation.
- Production-level knowledge of AWS networking, IAM policy design, and security architecture.
- Extensive experience implementing infrastructure as code via Terraform or OpenTofu.
- Deep understanding of Linux fundamentals, container runtimes, and distributed systems networking.
