ScaleGrid Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Platform Engineer to build and scale our multi-region cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will design resilient distributed systems, optimize internal developer tooling, and maintain 99.99% availability for critical microservices. We run cutting-edge Kubernetes workloads across multi-cloud environments, directly enabling high-velocity engineering output.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, deploy, and maintain highly available Kubernetes clusters on AWS and GCP.
- Develop internal infrastructure tooling and automation frameworks using Go and Python.
- Standardize and enforce Infrastructure-as-Code practices via Terraform and Pulumi.
- Optimize CI/CD delivery pipelines to ensure sub-10-minute deployment cycles.
- Design automated monitoring, tracing, and alerting pipelines using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Participate in a weekly on-call rotation and lead root-cause analysis (RCA) post-mortems.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of production experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles.
- Deep operational expertise with Kubernetes, container runtimes, and service mesh technologies.
- Proficiency in at least one modern backend language, preferably Go, Python, or Rust.
- Extensive hands-on experience managing infrastructure with Terraform at scale.
- Demonstrated success debugging complex networking and distributed system failure modes.
- Solid understanding of Linux kernel internals, TCP/IP networking, and platform security baselines.
