Vanguard Cloud Systems is hiring a Senior Platform Engineer to scale global edge infrastructure and automate multi-region deployments. You will design, build, and maintain mission-critical internal developer platforms that empower over 200 software engineers to ship safely and rapidly.
We prioritize reliability, developer velocity, and infrastructure-as-code best practices. In this role, you will eliminate deployment friction, modernize container runtimes, and harden systems against multi-cloud failover events.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and maintain distributed Kubernetes clusters across AWS and GCP environments.
- Build internal developer platforms and self-service APIs to reduce deployment cycle times.
- Maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and automated GitOps workflows with ArgoCD.
- Design resilient observability platforms utilizing Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Grafana.
- Implement zero-trust security controls, network policies, and identity access boundaries.
- Participate in high-tier incident escalation rotations and drive blameless post-mortems.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of production experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability.
- Deep production expertise with Kubernetes orchestration, service meshes, and container internals.
- Advanced proficiency in Go, Python, or Rust for infrastructure tooling and automation.
- Production mastery of Terraform or OpenTofu for multi-account cloud provisioning.
- Hands-on experience with modern CI/CD pipelines and declarative GitOps methodologies.
- Demonstrated background architecting fault-tolerant, horizontally scalable cloud systems.
