Vektor Systems builds high-throughput infrastructure powering the next generation of real-time data streaming. We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to architect, scale, and harden our core cloud foundation.
You will lead initiatives across multi-region Kubernetes deployments, optimize distributed storage backends, and eliminate developer friction across our globally distributed engineering org. If you obsess over high availability, low latency, and deterministic systems, this role is built for you.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and maintain multi-region Kubernetes clusters on AWS supporting high-throughput workloads.
- Design automated CI/CD pipelines to ensure safe, zero-downtime continuous deployment.
- Develop internal developer tooling and Terraform modules to standardize infrastructure provisioning.
- Monitor system telemetry, establish SLOs/SLAs, and drive observability across microservices using Prometheus and Grafana.
- Lead root-cause analysis (RCA) investigations and implement preventative system hardening.
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce zero-trust network policies and compliance controls.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of experience managing production-grade distributed systems in AWS or GCP.
- Expertise with Kubernetes administration, ingress controllers, and service meshes (Istio/Linkerd).
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or Rust for systems programming and internal automation.
- Production experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or OpenTofu.
- Deep understanding of Linux internals, TCP/IP networking, and distributed systems consensus.
- Demonstrated experience tuning high-scale relational and distributed data stores (PostgreSQL, Kafka).
