Nexus Distributed Systems is hiring a Senior Platform Engineer to build and scale resilient cloud platforms serving millions of concurrent requests. You will design core Kubernetes infrastructure, optimize deployment pipelines, and empower engineering teams with self-service tooling.
We prioritize automation, clear abstractions, and system reliability over operational churn.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, provision, and maintain production Kubernetes clusters on AWS using Terraform.
- Implement automated CI/CD workflows to reduce deployment friction and verification latency.
- Establish distributed tracing, metrics, and alerting pipelines using Prometheus and OpenTelemetry.
- Enforce security baselines, IAM roles, and secret management across cloud infrastructure.
- Partner with product engineers to resolve performance bottlenecks and optimize cloud spend.
- Participate in an on-call rotation with actionable, low-noise runbooks.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of software engineering or platform infrastructure experience in production.
- Deep operational expertise with Kubernetes, container internals, and service meshes.
- Proficiency in Go or Python for developing tooling, operators, and CLI utilities.
- Hands-on experience managing infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or OpenTofu.
- Working knowledge of distributed networking, VPC peering, and secure cloud topologies.
- Demonstrated ability to debug low-level Linux performance and networking issues.
