Apex Cloud Systems is looking for an experienced Senior Platform Engineer to scale our distributed infrastructure. You will own core cloud architecture, optimize deployment pipelines, and maintain zero-trust security postures across multi-region deployments.
We prioritize minimal abstraction, high developer velocity, and resilient systems that handle billions of API requests daily.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and maintain multi-region Kubernetes clusters on AWS with an emphasis on high availability.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to streamline provisioning.
- Design resilient CI/CD deployment pipelines to accelerate internal release cycles safely.
- Define service level objectives (SLOs) and manage distributed observability systems using Prometheus and Datadog.
- Lead root-cause analysis for production incidents and implement corrective architectural fixes.
- Partner with security engineering to enforce network policies, IAM boundaries, and secret management standards.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of production experience managing distributed Linux systems at scale.
- Deep expertise in container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Strong programming proficiency in Go, Python, or Rust for infrastructure tooling.
- Demonstrated mastery of Terraform or OpenTofu in enterprise AWS or GCP environments.
- Practical knowledge of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, BGP, DNS, and TLS termination.
- Experience participating in an on-call rotation with structured incident response procedures.
