Vectra Systems is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to own and scale our core cloud infrastructure. You will design, build, and maintain mission-critical internal developer platforms that empower our global engineering team to ship secure, reliable software at velocity.
In this role, you will lead Kubernetes infrastructure migrations, optimize cloud cost and telemetry, and embed zero-trust security across all production workloads. We offer comprehensive health benefits, unlimited PTO, and 401(k) matching.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, provision, and maintain secure multi-region AWS infrastructure using Terraform and modern GitOps workflows.
- Scale and optimize production Kubernetes (EKS) clusters to ensure 99.99% availability for distributed services.
- Build internal developer platforms and self-service CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
- Design enterprise-grade observability pipelines using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Partner with product security teams to implement automated vulnerability scanning and RBAC policies.
- Participate in a distributed on-call rotation to diagnose, resolve, and conduct root-cause analysis on critical incidents.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of production experience managing cloud environments in AWS or GCP.
- Deep operational expertise with Kubernetes, container networking, and service mesh architectures.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or OpenTofu) and configuration management.
- Strong scripting and automation capabilities in Go, Python, or Bash.
- Hands-on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, artifact management, and automated testing gates.
- Demonstrated experience operating high-throughput telemetry, logging, and metrics aggregation systems.
