Apex Digital Solutions is seeking a visionary Senior Platform Engineer to architect, build, and scale the foundational infrastructure powering our next-generation SaaS platform. You will operate at the intersection of software engineering and systems operations, treating infrastructure as code and automation as a first-class citizen.

Tanggung Jawab
- Design and implement a self-service Internal Developer Platform (IDP) using Kubernetes (EKS/GKE), Terraform, and Backstage to reduce service provisioning time from days to minutes.
- Architect and manage multi-region, multi-cloud Kubernetes clusters focusing on GitOps workflows (ArgoCD/Flux), service mesh (Istio/Linkerd), and progressive delivery.
- Lead the strategy for cloud cost optimization (FinOps), implementing automated rightsizing, spot instance orchestration, and detailed chargeback/showback models saving >20% annually.
- Build and maintain observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Tempo, OpenTelemetry) ensuring SLI/SLO adherence and sub-minute incident detection.
- Develop platform APIs and CLI tools (Go/Python) to abstract infrastructure complexity, enabling feature teams to deploy securely without deep cloud expertise.
- Drive security hardening initiatives: Zero Trust networking, secrets management (Vault), image signing (Sigstore/Cosign), and compliance automation (SOC2/ISO 27001).
- Mentor a team of 4-6 engineers, conduct architectural reviews, and define the technical roadmap for the Platform Engineering org.
- Participate in an on-call rotation (Tier 3 escalation) for critical platform services, driving root cause analysis and preventive action items.
Kualifikasi
- 8+ years professional software engineering experience, with 4+ years dedicated to Platform/DevOps/SRE engineering at scale.
- Expert-level proficiency with Kubernetes (controllers, operators, CRDs, cluster lifecycle management) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/OpenTofu, Helm/Kustomize).
- Strong programming skills in Go (preferred) or Python; experience building operators, controllers, or CLIs.
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS (EKS, IAM, VPC, S3) and/or GCP (GKE, Cloud Run, VPC-SC); multi-cloud networking experience is a major plus.
- Proven track record designing and operating CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Buildkite) and implementing GitOps at enterprise scale.
- Solid understanding of Linux internals, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/gRPC, eBPF), and distributed systems concepts (CAP theorem, consensus algorithms).
- Experience with Service Mesh (Istio/Linkerd/Cilium) and Platform Orchestration tools (Crossplane, Backstage, Humanitec).
- Excellent communication skills; ability to influence technical direction across Product, Security, and Engineering leadership.
