CloudScale Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer to lead the availability, latency, and performance optimization of our distributed cloud platform. In this role, you will architect resilient multi-region infrastructure, eliminate toil through automation, and partner with core engineering teams to maintain strict service level objectives (SLOs).
Tanggung Jawab
- Design, deploy, and maintain mission-critical infrastructure across multi-cloud environments using Terraform and Kubernetes.
- Establish, monitor, and enforce service level indicators (SLIs) and service level objectives (SLOs) across microservices.
- Build self-healing systems and automation tooling using Go and Python to eliminate operational toil.
- Lead root-cause analysis (RCA) investigations and post-mortem reviews for production incidents.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and improve alerting fidelity to prevent alert fatigue.
- Optimize system performance, network latency, and compute expenditures across AWS infrastructure.
Kualifikasi
- 5+ years of experience in an SRE, DevOps, or systems engineering role managing high-throughput production workloads.
- Production-grade expertise with container orchestration platforms, specifically Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in programming with Go or Python, along with advanced Bash scripting capabilities.
- Strong background with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling, primarily Terraform.
- Deep understanding of Linux internals, TCP/IP networking, DNS, and modern distributed systems architecture.
- Experience configuring enterprise observability stacks using Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and Datadog.
