Vanguard Systems is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to architect, build, and scale high-throughput distributed systems. You will lead cross-functional technical initiatives, set architectural standards, and drive infrastructure reliability across our global cloud platform.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect resilient, fault-tolerant backend services handling millions of daily transactions.
- Drive engineering standards, design patterns, and maintain technical documentation.
- Lead architectural reviews and mentor mid-to-senior level engineers.
- Optimize database performance, caching strategies, and event streaming pipelines.
- Collaborate with product and security leadership to ensure scalable, compliant delivery.
- Lead root-cause analyses and establish preventative observability practices.
Kualifikasi
- 8+ years of production experience designing and deploying distributed systems.
- Advanced proficiency with Go, Rust, Java, or Python in production environments.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native tooling (AWS or GCP, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Deep knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL) and event brokers (Kafka).
- Demonstrated ability to drive consensus across engineering and product teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
