Apex Data Systems is seeking a Staff Backend Engineer to architect and scale our real-time streaming infrastructure. In this role, you will lead the core technical design of ultra-low latency event processing engines, establish engineering standards across platform teams, and ensure high availability for petabyte-scale data pipelines.

Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, implement, and maintain resilient distributed systems using Go and Rust.
- Lead cross-functional engineering initiatives and technical roadmaps across platform teams.
- Optimize data storage, query execution, and throughput across multi-region deployments.
- Define architectural guidelines, observability metrics, and automated failure-recovery strategies.
- Conduct deep technical design reviews and guide the continuous evolution of our service topology.
- Mentor senior and mid-level software engineers through pairing and systematic code review.
Kualifikasi
- 8+ years of production experience designing and operating distributed systems at scale.
- Deep proficiency in systems programming languages, specifically Go or Rust.
- Extensive experience with event-driven architectures, Kafka, and stream processing engines.
- Advanced understanding of database internals, concurrency models, and consensus algorithms.
- Demonstrated experience operating mission-critical services on Kubernetes within AWS or GCP.
- Proven track record of technical leadership and cross-team system design ownership.
