Veloce Infrastructure is hiring a Staff Backend Engineer to drive the architectural evolution of our distributed streaming platform. In this role, you will lead the core engineering group, resolving ultra-low latency constraints and scaling data pipelines serving millions of operations per second.
You will collaborate directly with cross-functional leadership, mentor senior ICs, and own the design, reliability, and security of critical platform services.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, build, and deploy fault-tolerant, high-throughput distributed backend services.
- Define architectural standards, service contracts, and deployment blueprints across platform teams.
- Diagnose performance bottlenecks across network, application, and database layers to guarantee sub-millisecond p99 latencies.
- Lead technical design reviews and drive engineering initiatives across multiple domains.
- Partner with site reliability engineers to enhance observability, automated remediation, and zero-downtime rollouts.
- Mentor senior and mid-level engineers through technical guidance and rigorous code reviews.
Kualifikasi
- 8+ years of production experience building large-scale backend and distributed systems.
- Advanced production proficiency in Go, Rust, or modern C++.
- Deep hands-on experience with transactional and distributed data stores (PostgreSQL, CockroachDB, Redis).
- Demonstrated success designing event-driven architectures with Apache Kafka, Pulsar, or equivalent tools.
- Strong background in Linux internals, network protocols (TCP, HTTP/2, gRPC), and container orchestration.
- Track record of owning system components from requirements gathering to production monitoring at scale.
