ScaleOps Technologies is seeking a Staff Backend Engineer to design, build, and optimize our core distributed platform. In this role, you will lead the architectural evolution of high-throughput services handling billions of daily events, working cross-functionally with product, infrastructure, and security teams to maintain industry-leading reliability and latency.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, implement, and maintain high-throughput, low-latency microservices using Go and PostgreSQL.
- Drive end-to-end technical strategy and architecture roadmaps for distributed storage and retrieval systems.
- Establish operational best practices, including observability, tracing, structured logging, and automated alerting.
- Mentor senior and mid-level engineers through detailed code reviews, design documentation, and technical workshops.
- Collaborate with product and security leadership to ensure fault-tolerant, compliant system designs.
- Identify system bottlenecks and implement proactive database and network-level performance optimizations.
Kualifikasi
- 8+ years of production backend engineering experience with modern, statically typed languages (Go, Rust, or Java).
- Proven track record architecting distributed, horizontally scalable microservices under heavy load.
- Deep understanding of relational and non-relational datastores, indexing strategies, and query optimization.
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and public cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP).
- Hands-on expertise with asynchronous messaging systems such as Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NATS.
- Strong background in writing production-grade test suites, CI/CD automation, and infrastructure as code.
