Apex Core Technologies is seeking an exceptional Staff Backend Engineer to drive the architectural evolution of our low-latency distributed streaming platform.
In this role, you will lead the core infrastructure initiatives handling billions of daily events, collaborating directly with cross-functional teams to eliminate performance bottlenecks and ensure five-nines reliability across our multi-region deployments.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, build, and maintain mission-critical distributed services processing high-throughput event streams.
- Optimize system performance, resource utilization, and end-to-end latency across AWS infrastructure.
- Establish engineering standards, conduct thorough code reviews, and mentor mid-to-senior engineers.
- Drive disaster recovery strategies, automated failovers, and resilient fault-tolerant systems.
- Collaborate with product and security leadership to design scalable data models and secure APIs.
- Participate in high-priority on-call rotations and lead systematic post-mortem analyses.
Kualifikasi
- 8+ years of production experience designing and maintaining large-scale backend systems.
- Deep mastery of Go, Rust, or modern C++ in distributed Linux environments.
- Demonstrated experience operating distributed datastores such as Cassandra, PostgreSQL, or DynamoDB.
- Hands-on expertise with streaming primitives like Apache Kafka, Pulsar, or Apache Flink.
- Solid foundation in distributed consensus protocols, networking (TCP/IP, gRPC, HTTP/3), and concurrency models.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent practical systems engineering experience.
