Nexus Systems is seeking an exceptional Staff Backend Engineer to architect and scale our core distributed data platform. In this role, you will lead critical architectural initiatives, optimize high-throughput distributed systems, and mentor senior engineering talent across global product teams.
We build mission-critical cloud infrastructure processing millions of events per second. You will directly influence technological roadmaps, define engineering standards, and eliminate systemic bottlenecks in high-concurrency environments.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, build, and maintain fault-tolerant, high-throughput distributed backend services.
- Define architectural guidelines and technical roadmaps across multiple platform teams.
- Diagnose and resolve complex performance, latency, and scalability bottlenecks across microservices.
- Lead engineering design reviews, code audits, and operational readiness protocols.
- Mentor senior and mid-level software engineers to accelerate technical leadership across the organization.
- Partner with Product and Security teams to deliver compliant, scalable, and resilient systems.
Kualifikasi
- 8+ years of production experience designing and maintaining distributed systems.
- Proficiency in Go, Rust, or modern C++ in high-load, cloud-native environments.
- Demonstrated expertise with distributed consensus, messaging queues (Kafka), and event-driven architecture.
- Deep understanding of relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL storage engines, including query optimization.
- Hands-on expertise with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and cloud primitives (AWS/GCP).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical industry experience.
