Nexus Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Staff Backend Engineer to design and scale distributed systems powering millions of transactions per second. You will lead core architecture initiatives, eliminate single points of failure, and set reliability benchmarks across engineering teams.

Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, build, and deploy low-latency, fault-tolerant distributed backend services.
- Drive cross-team technical roadmaps and establish production reliability standards.
- Profile bottlenecks in runtime memory, CPU, and database access layers to optimize performance.
- Maintain high code quality standards via rigorous automated reviews, integration testing, and CI/CD automation.
- Participate in high-severity incident resolution, root-cause analyses, and blameless post-mortems.
- Mentor senior and mid-level engineers on distributed systems design patterns and operational discipline.
Kualifikasi
- 8+ years of production experience shipping backend software in Go, Rust, Java, or C++.
- Demonstrated experience designing high-throughput distributed systems and data pipelines.
- Deep understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL) and distributed stores (Raft, Kafka, Redis).
- Solid grasp of Linux OS internals, network protocols (TCP, gRPC, HTTP/2), and cloud infra (AWS/GCP).
- Proven track record operating production workloads with Kubernetes and modern observability stacks.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, equivalent technical degree, or equivalent practical experience.
