Nexus Cloud Systems is seeking a Staff Backend Engineer to design and scale our mission-critical distributed platform. In this role, you will define architecture, eliminate throughput bottlenecks, and set engineering standards for high-concurrency cloud infrastructure.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and maintain distributed, fault-tolerant microservices handling millions of daily requests.
- Drive core architecture decisions, data modeling, and protocol specifications across teams.
- Identify and resolve complex system bottlenecks to maintain low-latency performance at scale.
- Establish automated testing, CI/CD best practices, and code hygiene standards across the codebase.
- Mentor mid-level and senior engineers through design document reviews and pair programming.
- Collaborate with product and site reliability engineering teams to translate business requirements into resilient systems.
Kualifikasi
- 8+ years of professional backend engineering experience with Go, Rust, or modern Java.
- Proven track record of designing and scaling distributed systems in production environments (AWS or GCP).
- Deep expertise with relational databases and distributed datastores, including PostgreSQL and Redis.
- Strong grasp of concurrency primitives, networking protocols (gRPC, HTTP/2), and caching strategies.
- Demonstrated technical leadership across multi-functional engineering groups.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical industry experience.
