Apex Data Systems is seeking a Staff Backend Engineer to drive the evolution of our high-throughput distributed data platform. You will take ownership of core services processing tens of billions of events daily, steering technical direction, system reliability, and architectural scalability.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, build, and maintain mission-critical distributed microservices in Go.
- Lead system performance optimization to sustain sub-10ms latencies under heavy load.
- Define service boundaries, API contracts, and engineering best practices across teams.
- Partner with Infrastructure teams to ensure robust observability, reliability, and failover automation.
- Drive root-cause analysis for high-severity production incidents and implement permanent remediations.
- Mentor senior engineers through technical roadmapping, RFC reviews, and design critiques.
Kualifikasi
- 8+ years of software engineering experience developing distributed backend services at scale.
- Deep production expertise with Go, Java, or Rust in high-concurrency environments.
- Hands-on mastery of distributed messaging systems like Apache Kafka or AWS Kinesis.
- Extensive experience tuning relational (PostgreSQL) and non-relational (Redis, Cassandra) storage engines.
- Demonstrated knowledge of containerization, Kubernetes, and cloud networking primitives.
- Track record of writing technical design documents that align multiple cross-functional teams.
