Nexus Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Staff Backend Engineer to architect and scale our next-generation distributed data platform. You will lead core technical initiatives, set design standards across teams, and solve critical throughput and reliability challenges handling millions of operations per second.
This role offers high visibility, direct influence over our technological roadmap, and competitive equity packages in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, implement, and maintain high-throughput, low-latency distributed microservices in Go.
- Lead cross-functional architecture reviews and establish software engineering best practices.
- Diagnose complex performance bottlenecks and system failures across distributed environments.
- Drive scalability initiatives for multi-region cloud deployments on AWS and Kubernetes.
- Mentor senior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and technical roadmap planning.
- Partner with product and security leadership to ensure fault-tolerant, compliant designs.
Kualifikasi
- 8+ years of production experience in backend software engineering with Go, Rust, or Java.
- Demonstrated expertise designing and operating large-scale distributed systems in production.
- Deep understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, storage internals, and query optimization.
- Strong experience with event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka or AWS Kinesis.
- Extensive hands-on expertise with container orchestration and cloud platforms (Kubernetes, AWS/GCP).
- Proven track record driving architectural consensus across multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent practical industry experience.
