Apex Distributed Systems is seeking an experienced Staff Cloud Architect to lead the design, evolution, and reliability of our global infrastructure platform. In this role, you will define architecture patterns, establish best practices across engineering teams, and drive the adoption of high-throughput, fault-tolerant cloud services capable of handling millions of real-time requests.
You will collaborate closely with platform engineers, security teams, and executive leadership to align infrastructure strategy with business growth while maintaining exceptional uptime and operational efficiency.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, deploy, and optimize highly scalable cloud infrastructure across multi-region AWS environments.
- Define infrastructure-as-code standards using Terraform and Kubernetes orchestration frameworks.
- Lead cloud cost-optimization initiatives and implement automated financial governance policies.
- Establish security guardrails, IAM architectures, and zero-trust network configurations.
- Mentor senior and staff engineers on distributed systems design and operational excellence.
- Partner with product and engineering leaders to translate technical roadmaps into reliable delivery cycles.
Kualifikasi
- 8+ years of engineering experience with at least 3 years focused on cloud architecture at scale.
- Deep expertise in AWS core services, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and service mesh architectures.
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or systems programming languages for automation and tooling.
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-account AWS organizations and automated landing zones.
- Track record of designing systems with 99.99%+ availability requirements.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
