AetherScale Technologies is seeking an exceptional Staff Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to architect, scale, and harden our global multi-region cloud footprint. In this role, you will lead the core platform team, standardizing Kubernetes deployments, designing zero-trust networking paradigms, and optimizing high-throughput distributed database layers.
You will collaborate directly with product engineering leads and security officers to ensure 99.999% availability across critical enterprise workloads while keeping developer velocity at its peak.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect resilient, multi-region cloud topologies on AWS using Terraform and OpenTofu.
- Lead the migration and governance of multi-tenant Kubernetes clusters running mission-critical microservices.
- Design and maintain high-throughput CI/CD pipelines to ensure safe, automated continuous deployment.
- Drive site reliability initiatives, incident response postures, and automated disaster recovery testing.
- Implement cost-governance policies to maintain optimal compute and storage efficiency across environments.
- Mentor senior and mid-level engineers on distributed systems architecture and observability best practices.
Kualifikasi
- 8+ years of production experience in infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, or SRE.
- Deep operational mastery of AWS, Docker, and enterprise Kubernetes orchestration.
- Advanced infrastructure-as-code expertise using Terraform, Terragrunt, or Pulumi.
- Demonstrated proficiency in at least one systems programming language (Go, Python, or Rust).
- Proven track record operating high-availability telemetry pipelines using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Strong grasp of Linux internals, TCP/IP networking, BGP, and distributed consensus mechanisms.
