Apex Cloud Systems is seeking an experienced Staff Platform Engineer to lead the design and evolution of our next-generation infrastructure platforms. In this role, you will architect resilient distributed systems, drive cloud efficiency, and build mission-critical developer tooling for hundreds of engineers across the organization.
You will collaborate directly with engineering leadership to define infrastructure roadmaps, automate deployment lifecycles, and maintain 99.99% system reliability across our multi-region footprint.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, deploy, and scale multi-region infrastructure on AWS using Kubernetes and Terraform.
- Build internal developer platforms and CLI tools to optimize engineering velocity and CI/CD pipelines.
- Establish operational excellence standards, including automated disaster recovery and zero-trust security postures.
- Lead observability strategies using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry to guarantee system uptime.
- Mentor senior engineers through technical design reviews and production engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with product and security teams to execute compliance and risk-mitigation initiatives.
Kualifikasi
- 7+ years of experience managing production-grade cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.
- Advanced production expertise with Go, Python, or Rust.
- Deep practical knowledge of Kubernetes internals, service meshes (Istio/Envoy), and container runtimes.
- Proven track record architecting multi-account AWS or GCP infrastructure with Terraform or OpenTofu.
- Extensive experience implementing modern observability stacks and leading high-severity incident response.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
