Apex Cloud Systems is looking for a Staff Platform Engineer to lead the technical direction of our core infrastructure. In this role, you will own the architectural design, reliability, and automation of our multi-region cloud deployment platform serving millions of requests daily.
You will work cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to eliminate friction in the developer lifecycle while maintaining strict enterprise security standards and 99.99% uptime availability.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, scale, and secure multi-region Kubernetes infrastructure across hybrid cloud environments.
- Build internal self-service developer platforms using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Drive production readiness reviews, capacity planning, and automated failover architectures.
- Define, measure, and optimize SLOs, SLIs, and global observability systems using Prometheus and Grafana.
- Implement zero-trust security models across cloud networks, secret management engines, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Mentor mid-level and senior engineers on distributed systems architecture and reliability engineering best practices.
Kualifikasi
- 7+ years of experience managing high-throughput distributed systems in public cloud environments (AWS/GCP).
- Production expertise with Kubernetes cluster lifecycle management, container runtimes, and service meshes.
- Strong software development skills in Go, Python, or Rust for building automation tooling.
- Proven background designing GitOps continuous deployment workflows using ArgoCD or Flux.
- Deep understanding of Linux internals, TCP/IP networking, and distributed tracing.
- Demonstrated leadership in incident response, blameless post-mortems, and systemic reliability improvements.
