Nexus Cloud Technologies is looking for a Staff Site Reliability Engineer to lead the architectural evolution of our global edge platform. In this role, you will define systemic reliability standards, eliminate operational bottlenecks, and partner with core product teams to scale services supporting millions of real-time transactions.
We prioritize zero-downtime deployments, deterministic recovery mechanisms, and automation over manual toil. You will have deep autonomy to engineer high-leverage tooling and ensure enterprise-grade resilience across multi-region cloud infrastructures.
Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and maintain multi-region infrastructure across AWS and GCP using Terraform and Kubernetes.
- Define, measure, and optimize SLIs, SLOs, and Error Budgets across microservices.
- Lead root-cause analysis (RCA) investigations and drive architectural preventions for mission-critical incidents.
- Develop internal developer tooling and observability pipelines using Go and Python.
- Standardize zero-downtime deployment strategies, canary verification, and chaos engineering practices.
- Mentor senior engineers on distributed systems design patterns and operational excellence.
Kualifikasi
- 7+ years of professional engineering experience operating distributed cloud systems at scale.
- Deep production expertise with Kubernetes orchestration, service mesh technologies, and Linux internals.
- Strong programming proficiency in Go, Python, or Rust for systems automation and tooling.
- Demonstrated experience designing high-throughput observability stacks using Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Grafana.
- Hands-on experience architecting Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipelines with Terraform or OpenTofu.
- Proven record leading incident response and post-mortem remediation for mission-critical platforms.
